National Poll Watcher Recruitment Day

Wednesday, Aug. 23, is National Poll Worker Recruitment Day.

 This is a great opportunity for us to continue recruiting Officers of Election so we can have parity between Republican and Democrat officers in precincts throughout the Commonwealth.

 We've prepared a media kit that you can use to promote this effort and get officer of election sign-ups. Everyone who signs up through our form will be sent to their respective unit chair.

 It includes social media posts (including a great graphic by digital director Nathan Pittman), a statement to post on your website, a model press release, and a model letter to the editor. You're welcome to use any or all.

 We anticipate that Gov. Youngkin will put out a press release and the Department of Elections will promote Recruitment Day as well, so you should feel free to amplify their efforts--just be sure to include our sign-up link, bit.ly/gop-poll-worker.

 Of course, RPV will also be promoting this and we encourage you to amplify the State Party's efforts as well. Watch your e-mail and social media accounts on Wednesday for messages to repeat. We'll be using the hashtag #HelpVirginiaVote.
