Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness

The meaning of the words in our Constitution are not just words but a promise and guarantee of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. They mean that all citizens, including the unborn, have a right to life. That citizens have a right to defend themselves against an overpowering and overthrowing attack of our own government. That our citizens have a right to safety from outside nations forcing their ways into our boundaries to take what was meant for the American people. That we have a right to pursue our dreams without having to worry about them being handed over to those not entitled to them.

Sadly, there are far too many threats and communist agendas to take away these rights from the people. Threats of a socialist society, threats to our youth, to murder of unborn children, to groom not only them but our entire world population into new, unbiblical lifestyles. Trying to bring up the next generation to believe these are acceptable and normal when indeed, they are wicked and contrary to the faith on which our nation was founded. Threats to take away our second amendment rights in order to gain full control of the people. To destroy checks and balances and the attempt to fully corrupt the justice system in order to force the American people into complete and total submission, just as in the days of Hitler. A threat to degrade and devalue the sanctity of traditional marriage and to not only flip the roles of men and women but to degrade both genders and attempt to force conformity.

As a Republican woman, those words hold more value to me than they ever have in my lifetime. They now represent gifts that I now must fight for in my own country. They’re important because they encourage me and remind me to hold on to the promises of Christ and the foundation of Christianity that our founding fathers used as a guideline to form this nation and its values. They remind me that I must be the one to stand for what’s right, to protect those liberties for my generation and the ones to follow. Those words bring an overwhelming desire for me to be the leader of all women and young ladies. They encourage me to be an example and the difference that women in this country need to give them hope for their life, their liberty, and their own pursuit of happiness.
